BBQ Mackerel ππ€€
This recipe is one of the famous recipes in goa this recipe is originally known as recheado masala bangde fry and my twist to it is instead of frying the mackerel with semolina or rice flour i used charcoal grill to add smoky taste π€€π₯ which make the recipe even more delicious and yummmmm.
Ingredients
- 1 inch fresh Ginger
- 1 medium Garlic bulb
- 25 red dried Kashmiri Chili
- a few dried bird's eye chili for the heat ( I add about 3)
- ¼ Teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 4-5 Peppercorn
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- 5 Cloves
- pinch Fenugreek seeds
- ¼ teaspoon brown or black Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- pinch Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- 500 milliliter White Vinegar (and maybe more is needed)
- 60 milliliter Coconut Feni
to be honest to do this i took my mom's help. ! Because this ingredient must be as per quantity as given above or else we cant get that recheado flavour
- Step one clean the mackerels and add pinch of salt to and keep it a side for 10 minutes.
- Step two add all the given ingredients to mixer and brand it into a smooth paste
- Add the paste to the mackerel and charcoal grill it for 10 minutes each side and grill it using coconut oil and serve the recipe..i hope you all will try this recipe soon π€€
